This shop is incredible!!! Floor to ceiling, wall to wall, jam packed with awesome cross stitch supplies, patters, etc. Finished cross stitch pieces, crafted by the owner, EVERYWHERE!!! When I walked in, I felt like I had died and gone to cross Stitch heaven!!!!
229x333 - This reproduction sampler from Hands Across The Sea Samplers was finished when Jenefer was twelve years of age in April 1818 - features a pretty clover border surrounding an array of birds, trees, hearts, crowns, an abundance of flowers, two distinctive basket of flowers and fruits are the highlight of this sampler; and the verse "Swiftly see each moment flies, See and learn be timely wise, Every moment shortens day, Every pulse bears time away, Thus they every heaving breath waft thee on to certain death, Seize the moments as the fly, Know to live and leave to die." which was a popular verse in Victorian times - coded for Soie d'Alger or DMC
