I know may stitchers work on two or designs at one time. I usually only work on one - start to finish. When I started this design from Diane Graebner last year, I got tired of the black. I think it was because I was doing some Halloween designs, and then stitching the buggies, just did not interest me. Well, since I'm in my Amish mode, I picked this back up and as you can see, it is finally finished and am ready for Autumn wall hanging. I always stitch the black using three strands of floss so that no fabric will show through the stitched. This was a little tuff because of all the black, but as you can see, it really worked out well. I stitched this model on 18 Ct. Fiddlers Cloth.
Just a Note - The Amish designs are usually the only models that I stitch on aida. I prefer linen or evenweave, but these designs look best on aida and I really enjoy the change.
