The following notice is from 2023:

Some of you may not be aware of the changes that took place in Europe regarding dyes that are no longer available due to enviornmental legislators. This affeced some of the base cones that Classic Colorworks orders from DMC which fell under those regylators in France where DMC is manufacturered. A few of the colors are close to te originals, and some took a leap. They are working to try to solve some of those iusses altering old recipes to accommodate the changes. In addition, some of the dyes have changed as well due to US manufacturers still encountering dye material shortages. These problems first surfaced during COVIV, and still is not resolved.

Please make sure you get enought thread for your projects to avoid any disappointments in matching floss as colors coud vary substancially by dye lot.
