221x207 - From Hands Across The Sea Samplers comes this reproduction of a sweet school girl sampler from England dated 1841 - features a large red schoolhouse with urns of flowers on each side, birds on and above the roof, at the top is a verse "Let this great truth by all be understood: that all the pious duties which we owe our parents, friends, our country, and our God, the seeds of every virtue here below from education fist, and early culture flow.", butterflies accent above, and a red floral border surrounds - coded for Silk thread with DMC alternates
Stitched on 36 Ct. Straw Linen from Weeks Dye Works
