Shipping: Most orders will be shipped within 48 hours. If an item or items are out of stock, we will hold the order for no longer than 14 days or will backorder the item. As soon as our stock arrives, we will ship the backorder. We pick up the postage for all back-orders. Hand-dyed fabrics could like longer. The only exception to this rule is regarding R & R Reproductions fabric. If we have to back order R&R fabric, we do not charge for their back orders and only charge the day of shipping as they are not timely shippers, and some colors and fabric types could take longer than we like to get back into stock.  All back orders will stay open until our restock arrives, or we are notified by the customer that they no longer want the product.

As always - you will receive an e-mail with tracking once your order is packaged and ready for pickup by the U. S. Postal Service. Once the package leaves our shop, the U. S. Postal service is responsible for your delivery, and you then can track the movement of your package with the link provided.

Shipping and Handling Rates: We ship by U. S. Postal Service 1st Class Mail and Priority Mail depending on the size and weight of the order. Sometimes packages must go parcel post due to their size. If you want Priority Mail, note this on the order form. We use flat rate envelopes and boxes where ever possible to keep down the cost of the shipping. Rates start at $6.50 due to the U.S. Postal Service rate increases. Express Mail is also available at an additional cost.

US First Class Rates used are as follows:

Up to $8.00.............$3.00
$8.01 to $29.99.......$4.50
$30.00 to $59.99.....$5.75
$60.00 to $100.00...$6.50
Over $100.00..........$7.50

Larger orders are charged more depending on how the items are shipped.

*Heavy items will be shipped in Priority flat rate boxes costing from $15.00 and up

 

Sales Tax Sales Tax of 6% is charged for all Pennsylvania customers only.  No sales tax is charged for the other 49 states or Canada.

Express Mail is also an option - we charge what the post office charges us when using this method.

International Customers including Canada:

For Canadian Customers - Effective January 2016, the U. S. Postal service changed the method for shipping to our Canadian neighbors.  Postage is now based on zone depending on the providence and zip code.  Our shipping rates will be based on that method.  We will ship all packages by First Class Mail and base our prices on the rate charged.  If you want Priority Mail, flat rate envelopes start at $21.95.  You can note in the comment area if you prefer Priority Mail, otherwise we will use First Class Mail and charge your the cheapest we can.  All Packages are sent with tracking at no additional charge. Your order total will be adjusted to reflect the shipping rate charged once the order is packaged and ready for the post office. The postage charged will be noted on the invoice that is included with your order.

For Overseas Customers - The USPS changed their postage rate structure January 2016 for all International shipping. We will now send all international packages via First Class Mail plus a small insurance fee. If you prefer Priority Mail, please note in the comment area. First Class Rates range from $6.00 on up based on the weight of the package. We will send the least expensive way
depending on what is ordered and the weight.

Since we have had problems with customers in a few countries - mostly Japan and Russian customers who place orders and don't have the funds available when we are ready to ship their order, we now will charge their credit card the day the order is received before we even pull/or order merchandise to fill the order. This will eliminate us holding merchandise only to find that the credit card is decline on the day of shipping. Then after sending endless e-mails having to put the merchandise back into stock because the customer never responds.  This ruling does not pertain to any customer from these countries that has purchased from us in the past, and is in good standing. We are sorry to take such measures as we always treated everyone with the same respect. Now we know, we cannot do that with some customers.

Notice to all customers:  We only charge your credit card at time of shipping and expect the funds to be available at that time.  When your order is pulled, we take it out of inventory and it is not available to anyone else.  We do understand some times errors occur when entering your credit card number. If we e-mail you with regards to your order, we would appreciate an e-mail or call back so we can get the issue resolved.  When we receive an order, we pull all merchandise and make it unavailable to others. If you decide after placing an order that you do not want the merchandise, an e-mail is greatly appreciated.  We are a customer oriented shop and all orders are processed in the order of their arrival, just we do when a customer walks through our door.
