197x203 - From Cross Stitch Antiques comes this antique reproduction sampler that was stitched by Mary Atkinson of Franklin, TN, on March 4, 1817 when she was 11 years old - at a later age she married Fountain Branch Carter and on whose property the highest casualty battle of the Civil War would wage in Franklin, Tennessee. The original sampler hangs in the Carter House Museum and the proceeds of the sale of this chart will benefit the Battle of Franklin Trust which preserves the Civil War sited and history of the Battle of Franklin - D
